West Sussex County Council is coordinating a response. Your input would be welcome before the end of June. The responses in this consultation should relate to train operations and station facilities, which are the responsibility of the franchisee – rather than comments relating to big infrastructure upgrades that are not being sought as part of this consultation . Specifically the questions that should be considered (as were included in the original message) are: - What is good about the existing service and should be retained? - What is bad about the existing service and should be changed? - List your top three issues concerning your local station(s) (eg facilities, safety, etc) - List your top three issues concerning local rail services (eg journey times, frequency day/evening, reliability) - List your top three issues concerning trains (eg cycle facilities, cleanliness, seating, information) - Any other comments on issues of concern Comments should be sent to the following address: Tracey Waltho, Assistant Head of Highways & Transport, WSCC, The Grange, Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1RH Tracey.Waltho@westsussex.gov.uk Or direct to the Dept of Transport |
