Review of the Neighbourhood Plan

The District Council Local Plan is currently undergoing a review. As a consequence the Chidham & Hambrook Parish Council have agreed to review our Neighbourhood Plan. A working group will carry out this work. To form the group, we need a mix of Parish Councillors and members of the local community with people from all parts of the Chidham & Hambrook. Marking the 100th Anniversary of the end of WW1 – St Mary’s Church, Chidham

Sat Nov 3rd, 10.30 – 5pm. An Exhibition commemorating the lives of those on our WW1 war memorial. Exhibits, contemporary music and poetry from the time, and other events during the day. . Entry free, but donations to be shared between the British Legion and Church welcomed. The Exhibition will remain in St Mary’s for two weeks until Friday Nov 16th.
There will be a special Remembrance Service on Sunday Nov 11th starting at 10.30am.

For info: Police will no longer record Lost Property

From October 1st, along with police forces nationally, Sussex Police will no longer record reports of lost property. Chief Inspector Roy Hodder, Communications Department said: “Although lost property will no longer be recorded by police, we are accepting items of found property.” Our website has comprehensive information on where lost property reports can now be made. WSCC Consultation on budget proposals.

West Sussex County Council wants to hear views on budget savings proposals  – Have your say on proposed changes to housing related support, the Local Assistance Network (LAN) and the Minimum Income Guarantee. Cabinet Member for Adults and Health, Amanda Jupp, said: “The County Council is coming under unprecedented pressure to make savings, and we are being asked to make some really difficult decisions when it comes to our ever buy tadalafil 20 mg online decreasing finances.
