Chidham and Hambrook - More Organisations - Fair Trade

The Chidham and Hambrook Fair Trade Connection

Welcome to the Chidham and Hambrook community FairTrade connection and thanks to the chidhamandhambrook web site for this page. It is intended that the page will show local availability of FairTrade products. Once an individual, or local shop, has confirmed they wish to be included, this page will provide details of what products are available with the FairTrade kite mark and when they are available for purchase.

For those who would like to view a selection of Fair Trade products the local Co-op sells a selection of confectionaries.

A wider range of Fair Trade products (foods, small gifts, cards and Christmas gift catalogues) will be on display (and available for purchase) on the first Monday of each month (starting on 1st October) from 9.30 to 6pm at ‘The Old Post Office’ (close to the new Post Office) in Broad Road. Further details by phoning Stella Hames on 01243 573888 / 07974334592.

If you have any ideas, wish to help organise FairTrade locally, then please contact me, Philip MacDougall, at the following: philip.macdougall@btinternet.com

The church of St John the Evangelist at Southborne is a Fair Trade church and is part of an initiative to ensure that the entire diocese can claim 'Fair Trade' status.  Fair trade coffee and tea is available after all services and their coffee mornings.  See www.southbornewiththorney.org  for further details
