Sunday 4th September: Jenny Beale completed her Charity Cycle ride arriving at Bosham Quay
On Sunday September 4th Jenny Beale completed her epic 600 mile cycle ride from Galway in the west of Ireland to Bosham tracing the link between the Irish monks and St Cuthman and raising funds for two charities, the Chichester Harbour Trust and Brigit's Garden.. The last leg was from Steyning to Bosham, the reverse of St Cuthman's journey, where Jenny was greeted by a crowd of supporters. St Cuthman famously pushed his mother in a wheelbarrow from Chidham to Steyning where he stopped and founded a church. The day was completed with celebrations at Cobnor, where a stone seat will be installed by a harbour footpath to be called Cuthman's seat.
