However that didn't stop the Youth Group from having a go, from 9am on Saturday morning, to 9am on Sunday morning (March 20th). As a result of generous sponsorship, a splendid raffle, and the guilty delights of some splendid cakes, and despite a screen showing the tragedy of England's rugby performance the Youth group will have raised £600 to be split between Stone Pillow and the Youth Group Summer Trip icecream fund.
Oh, and I haven't mentioned the Fashion Show, and the record ping pong rally, claimed by James and Gary - was it 1345?
Some brave souls kept going all through the night. And some of us returned on Sunday morning for the bacon butties. The passing of the hours was marked by megaphone, and the score kept, just in case there was any confusion about how long it had all been going on for.
