Both evenings started with an overture of “Joseph” tunes skilfully played by the recorder group. On Thursday Stacey W. and on Friday Holly R. played the lead Role of Joseph with support of 11 other brothers and Ethan S. as the father Jacob.
Mr Cheshire played the Elvis styled Pharaoh ably backed by the female members of staff, and they performed the show-stopping Pharaoh's song. Toby M. played the pharaoh's servant, with Iona H., Courtney W. and Francesca R. playing the Ishmaelites. Other lead performers included Maddy W. who narrated the story, Mrs Lewis who conducted and directed the show, Rod Starr on keyboard, Sue Ball on Trumpet, and Tim Lewis on Drums, with all the other children forming the chorus and singing the songs beautifully.
