Rob Garrett sent in these photos from when Chidham Bear paid him a visit during his attached service with 2 Royal Welsh Battlegroup (The Manouevre Battlegroup) in Iraq on OP TELIC 10, (OP TELIC is the codename for deployments to Iraq) which ran from May - December 2007 . Rob is an officer in the King's Royal Hussars, the Cavalry regiment linked to amongst others Hampshire & Sussex).





Rob says subsequently Chidham Bear has flown onward to Afghanistan whence a friend of his in the Coldstream Guards has promised he will have some photos upon his return to the UK in late April.

Chidham Bear in the South Atlantic In his spare time....Chidham Bear (CB) has been serving with the Royal Navy at BFSAI (British Forces South Atlantic Islands) alias the Falklands! As you can see CB braved land mines, and drove a Navy land rover.	CB flew home from Port Stanley with the RAF so he has now served with all three branches of the armed forces - even Prince William hasn't done that yet! Thanks to Jez Raymond for the photos.
