2007 PTFA Quiz
Saturday, 13 October - School Sports Hall

Last year The Winning Team came second, this year they came last! The Lucky seven came 7 th and the Masterminds had a mental block! Last years winners Five cc were unable to reform and left the door open for The Band Of Mainly Brothers to capture the title of Chidham PTFA 2007 Quiz Champions.
The magnificent glass vase, donated by John & Lisa Keynes of Bellpigeon, will be engraved with the winning team name this year-mainly because they were in it. And they will kindly put last years on as well.

This year's event built on last years with more teams, no doubt hoping for the chocolate taste round again, sadly for some, replaced by a crisp taste bud challenge this time-scoring 9/10 for the web site team! And we all thought they had no taste buds left.

Other rounds included The Name Game set by Mollie Clark-Lucky 7 & the Silly Hat team both did well here with 18 out of 20, despite the Hat's thinking the Face of Bo was Pete Hilton!
Pete's geography round went down well with the web team and The Band of Mainly Brothers - maximum points and both jokers - Your telling me!

The Bobs excelled in round 1, proving to be true film buff's 10/10 and a joker to take an early lead. The D Fects only maximum came when they were given the answers and only had to supply the questions-but once again a good joker was played.

Lucky 7 scored well on Mitch's lyrically challenged questions, but this round was spoiled when Mitch and Steve decided to sing the answers. They later blamed Mike on the bar for some reason!

Many thanks to all who attended and helped make the evening lots of fun, whilst adding to the PTFA funds.

Charlotte Sturt thanked all the helpers, Steve, Pete, Mitch & Mollie Clark who ran the quiz, Mike Sturt who acted as bartender, Sophie Latter who helped to sell raffle tickets and all those who helped set up and clear away.

Well done to the winners, The Band of Mainly Brothers! If you were robbed, see you next year for the rematch!

A full list of scores has been published for those who can't believe they lost.
