It looks like the 'barbecue summer' summer could be a reality with even steamier heatwaves forecast. The best place to be in this weather is down by the water. Right now a cool breeze is drifting through my office window and the water is gently lapping on the hard at Itchenor. Can't wait to get out at lunchtime and dip my toes in! Full details |

Feb 12th Spoof news scoop |
Corn found on Village website |
| Apology | Currently there is not a lot of spoof news. Sometimes there just isn't any news, but it doesn't stop the BBC from filling a half hour slot at 1pm with no news and repeating the 'no news' every hour on the hour. Here at Chidham and Hambrook, we tell it like it is. However, we promise that just as soon as one of us gets round to writing some news, we will let you have it, up to the minute, just as its breaking, raw, unvarnished, cliche free, and without any attempt to hide the earth shattering implications for the local community. |
| Disappointed? Have a look at the spoof news archive | |
